"When I was in college I worked in the Financial Aid office, and learned all the tricks of the trade about how to graduate debt free, (and even did it myself). Now I help thousands of parents and their kids do it too."
When I first went to college, I had to move back in with my parents after being away in the military and on my own.
It felt embarrassing. After all, I thought the GI Bill would fully pay for my entire college education and I didn't have to worry, right?
Wrong!
I got lucky because I qualified for the Federal-Work-Study program and was offered an on-campus position in the Financial Aid office. That was probably the luckiest break I ever received because little did I know... that this minimum wage job was going to turn into literally tens of thousands of dollars for me.
When I accepted the position, I had no idea I would learn all the tricks of the trade, including where to find scholarships and grants that no one else knew about, and how to find awards that were tailor made just for me.
Plus, I learned what donors are looking for, so when I applied, I would win.
And, I even got to understand why administrators approve or deny appeals, and how to use this information to my benefit, so combined with everything else, I graduated completely debt-free.
And now, after learning all the tricks of the trade and employing them for my own benefit, I'm able to help you by teaching you everything you need to know so your teen can do it too.
